The Nissan Cube

The Cube, Nissan’s economy MPV, has been a staple in Japan for years and is finally making it to the United States. Sometimes unkindly referred to as a box on wheels, the Cube has an inventory of features that may just make it one of the most popular cars of the next few years.

With comfortable seating for five and plenty of leg and headroom, the Cube doesn’t sacrifice comfort for space. With more cargo space than a Mercedes-Benz S-class and a foot shorter than the Mazda MX-5, it’s compact but surprisingly roomy. Its size makes it very easy to park and maneuver in tight spaces. The Cube’s nicely upholstered seats have comfortably wide armrests and it also has a sunroof, rear wiper and defrost and keyless ignition. The rear door opens sideways and the rear seatbacks flip down for increased cargo space should you need it.

The Cube will undoubtedly be popular, too, for its gas mileage. Its lighter weight of 2500 pounds allows for about 35 miles per gallon. The 1.5-liter engine and 88 horsepower means it’s less powerful than other cars but for efficient, comfortable transportation it just can’t be beat. One of the many unique features of this car is called e-4WD; to engage the rear wheels, simply push a button and you’re in all-wheel drive!

With a base price of $13,821 the Cube is sure to be a big hit.

Benefits of converting your car to run on water

Tired of paying up those insane fuel bills year after year? Concerned about the rapid deterioration of the environment due to harmful carbon emissions that emit from millions and millions of cars that run on the road? Well… the answer is clear and simple. Go in for a water based fuel for your car and cut down the fuel bills drastically.

Automobiles that use a combination of gas and ordinary water to power the engine is getting popular these days, thanks to the efforts of a few inventors who believed in their dreams. If reports are to be believed, such cars have been already tried and tested and are on the road too. It has been tried on Toyotas, Fords, Trucks, Vans and the like, and amazingly, a hundred percent success rate has been observed.

According to this method, ordinary water is converted into HHO gas or Brown’s gas and this is used to power the engine, thereby running a car. Brown’s gas combines the atomic power of hydrogen and the chemical stability of water, which makes it an excellent source of energy. It has also been proved that when an engine is run on a water and gasoline combination, the water molecules are restructured, releasing a great spurt of energy, resulting in a fifty percent decrease in the use of gasoline.

This method is especially beneficial to the engine because firstly, there are no carbon deposits and this enhances the performance of the engine to a great extent. The temperature is also lowered and less heat is emitted into the atmosphere. The engine also runs silently and most of its components enjoy a longer lease of life.

Running a car on water can be a cheap, eco-friendly and practical solution for many of the problems that we are facing in this world today.

Joomla

Joomla is a unique open source content management system used by millions worldwide. The software is simple to install and yet so versatile and feature-rich that it is used for everything from simple websites to complex corporate applications. The most recent release completely refactored the codebase to improve ease of use and security.

You don’t have to be technically proficient or know HTML to edit, add content or manage your data; only basic word processing skills are necessary to use Joomla. You can build a site and manage the most complex web portals without knowing anything about computer languages! The browser-based interface allows unlimited sections or content pages to be added to your website. Some of the most recent add-ons allow users to include on their websites such tools as directories, 3-commerce and shopping cart engines, calendars, email newsletters, forums and chat software.

Administrators will appreciate the language packs and media manager, which stores presentations, documents and images. The article manager has a single editor that separates the introduction from the main article with a “read more” button for more efficient page management and attractive presentation. You can insert images into an article as you create it with the image manager and the menu manager makes your site simpler and user friendly for both the site manager and the visitor. Search-engine friendly URLs spell the end of duplicate content and optimize your site’s search engine.

Joomla has made remarkable improvements for designers, too. By separating the program and presentation logic, the code base is much more organized, giving them total control over how the content is presented. Template overrides allow for custom layouts and template parameters allow templates to be changed by the user from within with the template manager interface. This is a real timesaver for webmasters.

Developers will like the clean 3-tiered structure. The first layer is the new framework that’s logical and well structured and provides a solid base for future development. The document package gives the developer control over the whole document on any page. MVC based component objects provides a platform for application prototyping and development.

There’s plenty of support available, too. More than 150,000 users and developers frequent the Joomla forums if you have questions or simply want to discuss the lastest add-ons and features. The Joomla community is a very active one, not only on its forum and support boards but it reaches out with events and conferences as well. Joomla Days occur worldwide and feature speakers on such topics as development and security, integration strategies and business applications. The Art of Joomla, the official magazine, is available online as are tutorials and FAQs. Community members also offer training courses for beginners that work best with human instruction, featuring workshops and hands on support.

Joomla is being used for Community portals, personal homepages, small business websites, schools and churches. Businesses use Joomla websites for their homepages because of such features as inventory control, product catalogs, online reservations and orders. Families individuals and groups with common interests enjoy the chat software, forums and easy image control. Joomla isn’t perfect and can’t fulfill every need but with all the extensions and add-ons it’s one of the most versatile, appropriate and easy to use software packages available for nearly any type of website.
